Should you get that new iPhone 13?
iPhone 13 is what the news is about right now. It’s about to feature on a number of social-media-birthday-wish-lists, Adele’s streams are about to go up cos some relationships finna get tested by whether a partner can gift the new iPhone 13, Samsung is also about to get another headache. Is it something peer should pressurize you to buy?
We’ll find out.
The iPhone 13 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR with a resolution of 2532 x 1770 same with the iPhone 12. However an upgrade comes with the max brightness (800 nits) as opposed to the 625 nits of the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 is also slightly thicker and heavier to the battery weight. However, the height and width is similar to iPhone 12. Thankfully, the battery life is 2.5 longer than the iPhone 12.
Lastly, the camera. Pause. This is important. Another pause. The iPhone 13 possesses photographic styles for personalising the look of your image and cinematic mode for recording videos.
Let’s cut straight to the point. iPhone 13 has an upgrade but the upgrade isn’t that huge of a deal. Let’s assume the iPhone 12 has a value of 90% – the iPhone 13 is really just about a 5% difference. If you hope to really get returns on your spare cash, an investment in stocks or crypto isn’t a bad idea. The iPhone 13? Nah. Not really. The price gap for such little upgrade appears ridiculously high. Trust me, if you have an iPhone 11 or 12 already then you really don’t need to upgrade to iPhone 13 and if you want an upgrade really bad then wait for the next model. According to Apple, the upgrade will blow our minds (Dear Samsung, watch out).
If you want the iPhone 13 so bad, you should get the Pro Max instead.
